 Meet the Founder

Sparkle & Slapshots Design Co. was created from a passion for fashion, hockey and empowering women. If you put your mind to it, you can do anything—even with glam. 

A mom of three hockey players and a dog. Life can be busy navigating the beautiful chaos of schedules and big dreams. I've learned that life doesn't always go according to plan. I've also learned that challenges don't define us but how you deal with them does. 

I started this brand to show my kids that no matter what challenges comes your way, with hard work, determination, and believing in yourself you can achieve anything. Kindness, compassion, and empathy will bring you happiness, strength and gratitude. Also, would like to teach them the fundamentals about starting a business with no knowledge but for the love of fashion and hockey. A brand that is built on empowerment for girls and women's hockey era and showing up everyday with Glam. It is a learning journey that my children will be proud of me. Building this brand up to teach the fundamentals of starting a business with no roadmap but passion, love and determination. For my daughter, to learn how to start the brand from nothing. To provide her guidance through her passions and her journey in girl's hockey and apparel. For my boys, to teach them about determination and hard work that you can achieve anything while loving their sport of hockey. Also, teach them that supporting and celebrating women and girls in their lives makes them stronger and amazing individuals.

Sparkle & Slapshots is a woman-owned brand built on the belief that hockey is for everyone. We design premium, statement apparel for girls and women's hockey—and everyday glam for anyone who wants to standout. We also create bold pieces for the dads and boys who stand beside them and aren't afraid to make a statement.

Every rhinestone, every design, every piece we create is a reminder: you can do anything.
